Leveraging Your NSF Certification: Now that you've received NSF Certification ... why not leverage the Mark to your advantage.
The Packaged Ice Program is available from NSF International for ice producers who wish to participate in a voluntary sanitation assurance program to verify conformance with FDA Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Chapter 1, Part 110, Current Good Manufacturing Practices. The NSF Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories are formally certified by a number of states for drinking water analyses. The Microbiology laboratory is also certified for the bacteriological evaluation of containers and single service packaging for conformance with FDA criteria.
