Leveraging Your NSF Certification: Now that you've received NSF Certification ... why not leverage the Mark to your advantage.
As many of you are aware, there have been recent legislative attempts to end the required California Department of Public Health (CDPH) product registration requirements. While not completely giving up hope yet, at the time of this e-mail publication preparation, these attempts have thus far been unsuccessful. So, for now, CDPH registrations are required for all POU and POE products making health claims that are sold in California. NSF can assist manufacturers with any applications for certification either through NSF’s third party delegation agreement for NSF/ANSI 53 and 44 products, or through professional assistance for NSF/ANSI 58 applications.
