Leveraging Your NSF Certification: Now that you've received NSF Certification ... why not leverage the Mark to your advantage.

NSF International is pleased to announce that we are the first, and currently the only, certification body in North America to conduct IFS Logistics version 2 assessments. We have partnered with US Foods, Inc. to certify all of its facilities by the end of 2014. US Foods will be the first company in North America to achieve this recognition and NSF is proud to have been selected as its certification body.
The storage and transportation of food and nonfood products through all steps in the food chain is a complex process that requires specific control measures to ensure the products’ safety, quality and security. IFS Logistics is a longstanding, internationally recognized standard that provides transparency throughout the supply chain and verifies that all logistics activities are performed with safety and quality.
Benefits of IFS certification include improved assurance of safety and quality, enhanced regulatory compliance, cost reductions and increased efficiencies. Certification can also offer a competitive advantage in the marketing and selling of your services.
Another emerging standard under the IFS umbrella is IFS PACsecure. IFS, in conjunction with the Packaging Association of Canada (PAC), has developed a standard specific to the packaging industry. IFS expects that the IFS PACsecure standard will be GFSI benchmarked in 2013. Companies interested in a GFSI benchmarked certification for their packaging products can begin working with IFS PACsecure immediately.
You can download a free copy of the IFS PACsecure standard at either www.ifs-certification.com or www.pacsecure.com.
