To start the process, either download a PDF version of the Applicant Guide, or contact Sharon Steiner at (734) 913-5754 or steiner@nsf.org to request a copy. Once complete, applications should be sent to NSF International, Wastewater Treatment Unit Program.
The Applicant Guide is available for download in Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format (PDF). The PDF format allows you to view the documents on Macintosh, Windows, DOS and SUN computer systems. If you do not have an up-to-date copy of Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Reader, visit the Adobe website to download the software free of charge.
To apply, the applicant must show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as evidence of one year of active field experience conducting onsite inspections or completion of a training course. The completed application and supporting documentation, along with the application and written examination fee of $95.00, is to be returned to NSF.
