The NSF Water Division develops American National standards and performs laboratory testing and certification of water products to ensure water safety and quality. These products include municipal water treatment chemicals and distribution components, plastic piping and mechanical plumbing devices, and residential POU/POE drinking water treatment products. In addition, NSF provides services that help ensure the safety and efficacy of onsite wastewater treatment and water re-use products and pool, spa and recreational water equipment.
