
The NSF Retail Food Safety Program is an independent certification program that establishes best practices for food safety and sanitation at restaurants and convenience stores where foods are prepared and served directly to consumers. Through the use of audits, facilities are reviewed and special emphasis is placed on high-risk foods and food contact surfaces to help ensure that food is delivered in a safe and sanitary manner at all times.
