Microbiological and chemical testing of seafood and other food products is essential to help protect your company from recalls, product detention, litigation and even bioterrorism. We also offer moisture analysis and tests for histamines, phosphates, antibiotics, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned substances and water testing.
If you have seafood processing facilities in Alaska, you are required by the state of Alaska to have your process water tested. NSF Seafood offers water testing and compliance services to meet this requirement. Our Dutch Harbor testing facility is certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and is fully equipped to carry out the required analysis.
