New Standards and Protocols Discussed at NSF DWTU Industry Forum
The NSF Drinking Water Treatment Units Industry Forum for customers of NSF manufacturing POU/POE products was held on May 15, 2012. Over 30 industry representatives participated in lively discussions centered around NSF certification policies, sustainability, state regulatory developments, new standards and protocols, the latest updates on NSF’s Passport Program, and NSF brand building initiatives.
These discussions included both NSF and industry participants sharing the latest and greatest information, allowing everyone to be up to date with this key knowledge necessary for industry leaders. A reception followed, with attendees staying the night to attend the NSF Drinking Water Treatment Units Joint Committee meeting the next day.
A poll will be conducted over the summer to determine the timing and scheduling of the next Industry Forum meeting.
