Onett will serve as the technical manager for food and beverage safety training programs in the U.S. market

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – NSF International, a global public health and safety organization with 70 years of expertise in water and food safety and quality, announces the addition of Kimberly Onett, Technical Manager for NSF Training and Education Services for the North American training team.

Ms. Onett is responsible for the delivery of food and beverage safety technical training programs throughout the United States. She will provide technical expertise for curriculum and content development for these programs and conduct client needs assessment to support customized and onsite program development and the management of U.S.-based trainers to monitor compliance with accreditation requirements. Ms. Onett will also focus on the evaluation and expansion of NSF International’s training programs across North America.

Ms. Onett brings to NSF Training and Education more than 15 years’ experience in the food industry, having served most recently as the Director of Auditing at Merieux NutriSciences. In that role, Ms. Onett was responsible for North American audit operations, including budget, administration and the audit management team. Previous to this position Ms. Onett worked for Silliker, Inc., as an audit operations manager, responsible for the training and calibration of all auditors and for conducting customer audits (SQF, BRC Food, BRC Storage and Distribution, FSSC 22000, Silliker GMP, DC, HACCP and customer-specific audits). She also served for several years as a senior auditor across the U.S. Northeast.
