NSF Certification Enforcement Actions

The following manufacturers do not have the specifically identified products certified by NSF and/or are misusing the registered NSF Certification Mark on their products, in literature, or on their website. They may also be trying to imply that their products are certified when they are not.

Products listed here may also have had their certification revoked for noncompliance. The products which are no longer Certified will be displayed here for a period not to exceed two years. Description: Concession Carts Company makes claims of supplying NSF Certified components with as a part of their product on their website without providing any evidence to support this claim. As such, their claims cannot be verified. Their products are not NSF Certified.

Description: UMA Solar has distributed statements claiming that their Heliocol and SunStar solar collectors were certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61. These products are not currently certified by NSF to NSF/ANSI Standard 61.

On April 27, 2011 UMA Solar issued a press release concerning NSF-61 Certification for their Heliocol and SunStar solar collectors. Subsequently they issued a retraction. The retraction did state that the Heliocol and SunStar solar collectors are not, in and of themselves, certified by NSF.
