Course Description

Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis:  An Introduction – 1 Day; Cost $450.  Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is the process undertaken to find the root cause of the problem which, if adequately addressed, will prevent a recurrence of that problem. It is a requirement of the GFSI-benchmarked schemes such as SQF and BRC, and is used to provide permanent, long-term and practical solutions to food safety and quality problems. RCA uses an systematic, team-based and data-driven approach and should be performed as soon as possible upon the identification of the problem or incident.  You will learn RCA and problem-solving methodology through presentations, case studies and team exercises.
