Rick Andrew has 30 years of experience in preserving and maintaining clean drinking water, and is responsible for NSF’s global sales and structuring of water-related programme. He oversees a variety of teams to expand global business opportunities and, as an internationally recognised expert in point-of-entry and point-of-use water treatment product testing and certification, he provides technical support for manufacturers and regulators seeking to better understand methodologies for evaluating drinking water treatment units. He joined NSF in 1999.
Mr. Andrew is an advocate for independently tested and certified treatments, evaluated according to NSF/ANSI standards for contaminant reduction performance against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s drinking water regulations. He also helps to evaluate future needs for enhancement and further development of these standards to address emerging contaminants and advances in technology.
Mr. Andrew has also managed a wide variety of certification projects and teams that delivered client service, and helped develop new standards, policies and procedures designed to improve quality controls, assure that service delivery meets the needs of clients and marketability of the brand.
