MIOSHA Ambassador Program

In a unique program announced in September 2020, NSF teamed up with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) to provide free education and one-on-one guidance to help Michigan businesses minimize COVID-19 risks.

Thousands of businesses across Michigan have participated in the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) COVID-19 Workplace Safety Ambassador Program.

Working Together for Workplace Safety

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) and the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) developed the MIOSHA Ambassador Program to help Michigan businesses operate safely during the pandemic. NSF teamed up with the State of Michigan to provide free education and one-on-one guidance to Michigan businesses that want to minimize COVID-19 risks in the workplace.

The health and safety experts at NSF served as workplace safety ambassadors for the State of Michigan. Upon request, they visited businesses and provided educational information and one-on-one consultations to help companies better understand COVID-19 risks and requirements, at no cost.

Although the program has come to an end, we can still help you put programs in place to protect your employees and customers from COVID-19 risks, whether in the workplace, at events, schools or other environments.

We’ve learned a lot about pandemic preparedness over the past year and we’d like to share what we know with you.
