Alvaro De Bonis
Global Sales Strategy and Operations
Alvaro De Bonis is the Senior Director, Global Sales Strategy and Operations, at NSF, having joined the organization in June 2021.
Mr. De Bonis previously served as Senior Director, Global Commercial Excellence, at Diversey. His journey with Diversey began in 1998, when he led the integration of Diversey Lever (from Unilever Professional) with SC Johnson Professional. He also led Latin American sales operations, service operations and indirect channel business with a team of approximately 275 employees, and starting in 2015, he oversaw the transformation of European business (22 countries, 1,600 sales representatives) and the spin-off of Diversey for sales, marketing and technical services from Sealed Air Corporation ($8 billion, 2017). He has led projects supported by McKinsey, Bain & Company, Korn & Ferry, Miller Heiman, Gartner, Alexander Group and Watson Wyatt.
Mr. De Bonis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and a Master of Business Administration from IAE Universidad Austral in Argentina. He had the opportunity to improve his professional skills at Harvard Business School, UCLA and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Yale School of Management alumnus, having gone through the Global Yale Leadership Program.
Mr. De Bonis has more than 30 years of experience in multiple leadership roles within manufacturing, laboratories, chemical industries, cosmetics, automotive water utility and consumer businesses. He has a proven ability to drive profitable, innovation-based growth initiatives.
