About NSF
NSF was originally established as the National Sanitation Foundation in 1944 at the University of Michigan School of Public Health as an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation. The mission of NSF is to improve human and planet health, a mission we share with regulatory agencies and personnel whose job is to do the same.
