ENERGY STAR® Certification

This NSF third-party testing and certification programme provides credibility to manufacturers that participate in ENERGY STAR.

As an EPA-recognised laboratory and certifier for ENERGY STAR, we evaluate energy efficiency, validate data and report the data enabling you to use the ENERGY STAR mark on your foodservice equipment, appliances or pool pumps.

If your products meet ENERGY STAR requirements and applicable NSF/ANSI food equipment or appliance sanitation standards, your products can carry both the ENERGY STAR and NSF certification marks for added distinction in the marketplace.

Eligible product categories include:

  • Appliances: Dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers and water coolers
  • Refrigerated beverage vending machines
  • Commercial foodservice equipment: Dishwashers, fryers, griddles, hot food holding cabinets, ice machines, ovens, refrigerators, freezers and steam cookers
  • Pool pumps
