NSF’s 2020 Virtual QP Alumni Event Raises £3,950 for Charity
Our annual QP alumni event provides invaluable continuing professional development (CPD) for the busy QP. The meeting provides QPs who qualified through NSF, an opportunity to network and benchmark with fellow QPs, while sharing best practices and discussing the impacts of new legislation with support from regulators including the MHRA and opinion leaders. As well as the technical CPD, soft skills development helps QPs keep these increasingly important skills sharp and current.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2020 event was held virtually in November. Presentations included Pete Gough’s regulation update, a Q&A with a representative from the MHRA and a presentation from independent consultant Sam Clack on her 2020 journey. The committee decided that any profit from the event would to go to charity. The alumni donated a total of £3,950 to three UK charities: the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Macmillan Cancer Support and Candlelighters.
The annual alumni event is one of many resources and lifelong support NSF provides to QPs.
