Life-Space Earns NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP Certification

Shanghai, China – NSF, a leading public health and safety organization, today announced that Life-Space, a probiotics manufacturer based in Hong Kong, China, has earned NSF/ANSI 455-2 Dietary Supplements Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification for its manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. This marks the first facility in Australia certified to NSF/ANSI 455-2.

The NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP standard is designed to strengthen safety, quality, and trust throughout the supply chain. The certification combines regulatory requirements with retailer quality requirements to reduce the number of audits and financial costs associated with audits. The use of GMP guidelines helps companies develop and maintain proper controls in manufacturing processes so products are processed, manufactured, and labeled in a consistent manner, and meet quality standards.

This is the first time a BYHEALTH facility, which owns Life-Space, has achieved GMP certification for dietary supplements.
