NSF Appoints Karen Kreza Vice President, Global Human Resources

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – NSF, a global public health organization with more than 2,700 employees in 30 countries, has appointed Karen Kreza to the position of Vice President, Global Human Resources.

Kreza, who comes to NSF from Honeywell International in Phoenix, will lead a global human resources function, including regional teams in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. She’ll help guide the continued global growth and development of the organization and its employees by focusing on organizational development, talent acquisition and development, and alignment with the business strategy.

“Karen is a highly experienced professional with a proven track record of leading successful and innovative human resources teams for global organizations,” said Kevan Lawlor, President and CEO of NSF. “We look forward to continuing to grow and attract top talent under her leadership.”

Kreza brings 20 years of human resources experience to NSF. At Honeywell she held various roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Global Senior Human Resources Director. She also worked at Chrysler LLC, providing leadership in all aspects of human resources, and at Robert Bosch LLC, a multinational engineering and electronics company where she developed a high-potential trainee program and a human resources web-marketing strategy, maximizing university relationships and increasing candidate flow.

“I’ve always admired NSF’s work to protect and improve human health,” Kreza said. “The organization’s mission strongly aligns with my values both personally and professionally.”

Kreza earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and a master’s in labor relations and human resources from Michigan State University.
