NSF’s Elizabeth Jones Named to 2018 Notable Women in Marketing List

Nominated by their peers, Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Women in Marketing honorees are selected based on career accomplishments, involvement in non-profits and community organizations, and mentoring others in their field

Elizabeth Jones, Vice President of Global Marketing, Communications & Regulatory Affairs at global public health and safety organization NSF, was recognized in the Crain’s Detroit Business 2018 Notable Women in Marketing listing, published on October 8, 2018.

Jones joined Ann Arbor-based NSF in 2009. She directs marketing, communications and regulatory affairs for the organization which also includes five global divisions covering 12 industry sectors related to important human health and safety issues – water quality, food quality and safety, health sciences, sustainability and management systems.

“Elizabeth has a finely-honed ability to clearly communicate and also provide quick, strategic thinking,” said NSF President and CEO Kevan Lawlor. “She’s an astute practitioner of effective and persuasive leadership, instilling confidence in her team, both within and outside NSF. Always polished, professional, and personable, her superior work ethic and inherent understanding of the power of building relationships has led NSF through unprecedented global expansion and organizational growth.”

Prior to joining NSF, she was Vice President, Communications at Quicken Loans and Vice President, Marketing at Aquinas College. She retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Captain (0-6). She is accredited in public relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America and a member of the Detroit Chapter of the U.S. Navy League, serving on the team that helped commission the USS DETROIT on the Detroit waterfront in 2016.
