NSF-ISR Approved as Certified Body for RCMS:2019

NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR) has been approved by ANAB as a certification body for RCMS®:2019, the latest Responsible Care Management System® Program standard.

Our goal is to help provide a smooth and consistent transition with little interruption to clients’ transition from RCMS:2013 to RCMS:2019. Below are some key transition information and dates to be aware of during the transition period.

Key Timing:

RCMS:2019 is optional through 2019.

RCMS:2019, Option 1 (with annual surveillance)

  • Any certificate issued to RCMS:2013 will expire on December 31, 2020. Your existing certificate will be re-issued to reflect this new expiration date.
  • For any nonconformances during the transition period, the auditor will identify the clause in both RCMS:2013 and RCMS:2019.

RCMS:2019, Option 2 (without surveillance)

  • The statement of conformity will be issued to the version of the technical specification audited.
  • For any nonconformances during the transition period, the auditor will identify the clause in both RCMS:2013 and RCMS:2019.

January 1, 2020: All audits (Option 1 or Option 2) will be conducted using RCMS:2019.

December 31, 2020: The transition period to move from RCMS:2013 to RCMS:2019 ends.
