TraQtion Again Named to Food Logistics’ 2017 FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers List

TraQtion, an NSF company, is a supply chain quality and compliance software for the food and beverage industries

ANN ARBOR, Mich.— Food Logistics has named TraQtion, a supply chain quality and compliance software developed by NSF, to its 2017 FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers list for the second year in a row. Drawing on NSF’s 70-plus years of food safety expertise, TraQtion manages food safety, quality and compliance for supply chains, products and sites.

The annual FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers list serves as a resource guide of software and technology providers whose products and services are critical for companies in the global food and beverage supply chain. Food Logistics is the only publication exclusively dedicated to the movement of product through the global food supply chain.

TraQtion offers a variety of modules to handle supplier, product and site compliance, allowing businesses to select the quality and compliance options needed for their brands.

“To maintain compliance to safety and quality requirements, food safety professionals must track many data points coming from multiple sources,” said Sireesha Mandava, Senior Director, TraQtion. “The fact that we’ve been included in Food Logistics’ top 100 list for the second year in a row tells us we’ve created a product that is valuable to food safety professionals.”

“New developments and innovations in the software and technology sector are making sizeable impacts on the global food supply chain,” said Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director for Food Logistics and its sister publication, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The result is a greater visibility, improved regulatory compliance, enhanced shelf life for perishables, and the emergence of a more proactive and nimble food supply chain that benefits both the food industry and its logistics partners, as well as the end consumer.”

Companies on this year’s 2017 FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers list will be profiled in the November/December 2017 issue of Food Logistics, as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com.
