Our ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory in South Wales is one of the world’s largest specialist test laboratories for water fittings. We provide essential verification of performance and safety for the following industry standards and certifications:

REG4 Certification

Our REG4 certification scheme provides a fast, efficient and robust process to water fittings compliance in the UK. Regulation 4 requirements apply to the following UK regulations:

  • Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
  • Water Supply (Water Fittings) (Scotland) Byelaws 2014
  • Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009

This scheme covers mechanical products that come into contact with drinking water, including valves, backflow prevention devices, taps, mixers, shower heads, pipes and fittings, tanks, cisterns, water meters and many others. REG4 approval also extends to non-metallic products like rubbers, coatings, cements, resins and sealants.

WRAS Approval

We offer testing services for manufacturers selling products in the UK market who need to comply with the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS). WRAS applies to all products that come into contact with drinking water.

After our testing is complete, we send your test reports to the WRAS agency, which provides approval.
