Course Overview

All virtual instructor-led training courses are delivered in Eastern Time (ET).

This virtual instructor-led training course is delivered in two 3.5-hour sessions on back-to-back training days.

This course is available as an onsite offering. Please email us for a quote.

This course is designed to fully explain the ISO 45001:2018 Standard and leave participants with a solid road map for what changes will be required to implement the requirements.

This course is designed for organizations who have already implemented a QMS to ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 14001:2015. The Standard follows the same high-level structure and the following are interpreted though the lens of occupational health and safety:

Understanding the organization and its context Understanding the needs and expectations of interested parties Leadership accountability Actions to address risks and opportunities Change management and impacts on health and safety

In order to derive the most value from the learning and from the workshops, it would be beneficial to participants to already have a working knowledge of their own health and safety procedures and audits.

Particular requirements for compliant occupational heath and safety systems are emphasized:

Worker involvement, along with training and education Regulatory compliance Evaluating hazard risks as a prelude to hazard controls Incident investigation

For automotive companies, an optional workshop is offered where participants review their APQP process against the Standard’s requirements and the process approach to propose changes to more effectively consider OH&S concerns during product launch.

Please have your copy of the ISO 45001:2018 standard available for this training program.
