As Senior Director of Food Retail, Smith leads the organisation in helping businesses strengthen food safety, quality and consumer confidence worldwide. Her team enables clients to grow and succeed in an increasingly complex global marketplace.

Smith has extensive experience leading large-scale consumer and service organisations. Prior to joining NSF, she served as CEO of Sodexo’s Senior Living division, where she oversaw complex operations and drove growth, performance and customer experience initiatives. She has also held leadership roles at Starbucks and ExxonMobil, with a track record of operational excellence, talent development and business transformation across multi-site enterprises.

Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland and an MBA from George Mason University. She is on the board of advisors for the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
