NSF Hosts Impactful Food Safety Seminars in Vietnam and Thailand

NSF organized two influential seminars titled "Building Food Safety Excellence" in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on May 20, 2025, and in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 22, 2025. These pivotal gatherings brought together food sector experts and business executives to address critical industry challenges and enhance regional partnerships across ASEAN.
The seminars showcased compelling perspectives from Mr. Scott Morris, Senior Vice President of International Markets and Laboratories, NSF, alongside APAC leadership spearheaded by Ms. Jyoti Bhasin, Managing Director of APAC. Their engagement allowed participants to connect with sector specialists and obtain crucial knowledge about food safety advancements impacting retail and restaurant businesses.
The agenda focused on two vital topics: 'Food Safety Trends Every Brand Should Know' and 'Simplifying Food Safety at the Store Level'. These sessions reflect NSF's dedication to strengthening food industry practices throughout Southeast Asia. By fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration within the sector, we are advancing our mission to build a more reliable and sustainable food ecosystem.
As part of the event, Mr. Scott Morris and Ms. Jyoti Bhasin delivered an insightful session on Food Safety Trends Every Brand Should Know, highlighting both global and regional developments. They explored how climate change is intensifying risks to food sourcing and security, shared key findings from NSF's research on the top perceived food safety risks in restaurants, and emphasized the critical connection between food safety and brand value in today’s competitive marketplace.
