Geoff Farrell

As a Global Senior Technical Manager, Food Supply Chain at NSF, Geoff Farrell leads the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program, a food safety standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). In his role, he ensures that all SQF requirements are met by clients, ensuring the safety of food products across the supply chain.

Farrell has worked in the food industry for over 25 years, including the last 10 as a food safety auditor with NSF, auditing to multiple schemes. He is proficient in internal audits, SAP implementation, Brand Reputation through Compliance Global Standard (BRCGS), quality assurance and program development.

Prior to his work at NSF, Farrell worked with Clearwater Seafoods and PepsiCo Frito-Lay, where he developed highly motivated teams and fostered an environment of continuous improvement. Farrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Dalhousie University.
