Leanne Blommaert is the Manager of Research & Development, Food Retail at NSF. Her teams are responsible for supporting clients in the food and beverage industries with product development and regulatory compliance. She is based out of NSF’s Guelph, Ontario, location, home to the NSF Food Testing Labs.

Blommaert has an extensive background in food safety, product development and operations, having served in positions at Campbell Company of Canada and Cuddy Food Products. In addition to working as a technologist in both food and beverage product development, she has served in several roles in quality assurance.

She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Food & Nutrition from Bescia University College and Western University.
