A nationally representative survey of 2,000 UK adults uncovered a troubling paradox in the UK’s water fittings regulatory framework: while manufacturers and merchants can legally sell non-compliant products, the legal burden of compliance falls on installers and property owners – many of whom are unaware of their responsibilities.
There’s a dangerous disconnect between knowledge and responsibility.
