NSF, a leading public health and safety organization, is proud to announce that Fresh Partners Fruit and Vegetables Co., Ltd (Fresh Partners) has become the first company in the ASEAN region to gain GLOBALG.A.P. Chain of Custody (CoC) certification for Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) from NSF. This milestone demonstrates Fresh Partners’ commitment to sustainable agricultural practices.

“Fresh Partners is the first company to successfully gain GLOBALG.A.P CoC certification for Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) in the ASEAN region. It is also a landmark moment for the ASEAN agricultural business development,” said Sutida Ketudut, Director of Retail Solutions, APAC at NSF. “It sets a benchmark for other suppliers and emphasizes the importance of sustainability and traceability within the supply chain.”

Fresh Partners manages all aspects of the supply chain to deliver high-quality, fresh and safe fruits and vegetables under the brand name Thai Fresh worldwide. The company has been operating in Thailand for 20 years.

“This achievement highlights our commitment to upholding the highest quality, safety and transparency throughout the supply chain in Thailand’s fresh fruit and vegetable industry. Furthermore, obtaining the certification will enhance our brand value and boost recognition among market retailers,” said Menno Arents, Director of Fresh Partners Thailand.

GLOBALG.A.P. is a brand of smart farm assurance solutions, providing a range of standards that ensure safe and responsible practices in agriculture, aquaculture and floriculture production. The GLOBALG.A.P. CoC specifically focuses on product traceability throughout the supply chain, ensuring that products from GLOBALG.A.P. certified processes retain their certification status at every stage. The IFA is a standard that promotes responsible farming practices at the primary production level, addressing key areas such as food safety, environmental impact, worker health and safety, production processes and traceability. Through rigorous audits along the supply chain—from the farm to the consumers —the GLOBALG.A.P. CoC certification enhances product transparency.

“NSF is committed to leading the region by ensuring that consumers can trust their food is produced responsibly, thereby supporting sustainable farming practices,” said Jyoti Basin, Managing Director of APAC at NSF. “We encourage other suppliers to embrace similar practices and seek GLOBALG.A.P. CoC certification, as this will contribute to developing a more sustainable agricultural community.”
