Kyounghee(Kathy) Yang is the Regional Director in Global Food & Site Leader of Korea/Japan at NSF. She is responsible for leading regional programs and operations in Korea and Japan in the APAC region and has a proven track record of successful establishment of NSF Korea and Japan, remarkable growth and expansion of business in the responsible region over 14 years.

Before joining NSF in 2010, Kathy held various positions within the food industry. She was an adjunct professor at Konkuk University for three years, teaching Korea Food Sanitation Law and Food Additives. She also worked in SGS for nine years as Food Service Manager, Sustainability Business Manager, Strategy & Continuous Improvement Manager, Six Sigma Consultant, QHS&E Manager, ISO 9001:2000 internal Auditor, Continuous Improvement Committee Leader, etc.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Food Science and Biotechnology of Animal Resources from Konkuk University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales, UK, and a Ph.D. in Food and Biotechnology from Korea University. She is an Adjunct Professor at Kon-Kuk University and Vice President of GCCA (Global Companies CEO Association).
