Webinar: NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and NSF/ANSI 419 Overview
March 5, 2018
NSF often receives questions about municipal filters and which industry standards apply to these products, as well as what testing and certification entails. During this webinar, NSF experts discuss the two leading industry standards for these products:
- NSF/ANSI/CAN 61: Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects is a well-established industry standard that sets benchmark health effects requirements for components in a drinking water system that may come in contact with the water at any point, source to tap. This includes municipal filters.
- NSF/ANSI 419: Public Drinking Water Equipment Performance – Filtration is an industry standard created in 2015 to evaluate the performance of municipal water filtration technologies in removing Cryptosporidium from public drinking water supplies.
Access this webinar to learn more about the requirements of each of these standards and how they might apply to your product(s).
