Program Description

This one-day course is designed to provide attendees with a thorough understanding of the changes from IFA version 5 to IFA Version 6.

What this course covers

The course highlights the changes in General Regulations and the contents of the checklist for IFA V6 Plants Scope – Fruit and Vegetables. Principles and Criteria, new additions to the standard, compliance level changes and differences between V6 SMART and V6 – GFS are covered.

An email address is required for registration and to receive the login instructions.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the training course through NSF’s eLearning portal. Any additional information pertaining to the course will be sent in your confirmation email.

You will find your course material and homework/exam on the eLearning portal. You will need to access the portal in order to successfully complete the course and print your certificate. Upon successful course completion, you will gain access to print your official NSF Certificate.

Who should Attend

Farmers and producers of fruit & vegetables and people new to the standard. Anyone currently responsible for and managing a farm’s GLOBALG.A.P. system, Farmers, Farm Managers and System Administrators.

Course Objective

At the end of the program, learners will be able to: 

Participants familiar with IFA v5 will have a good understanding of the conversion to the new IFA v6 Plants Scope – Fruit and Vegetables standard.
