Our Sustainability Journey

NSF’s formal sustainability journey began in 2023, when we committed to gathering data, setting benchmarks and identifying where we could make the biggest impact. Our sustainability strategy is focused on addressing key areas proactively using a “glocal” approach. Whether installing solar panels in Brazil or eliminating single-use plastics in Michigan, we empower teams to take ownership of sustainability while encouraging them to track and share their achievements.

Health, Safety and Wellness

At NSF, we believe our team is our most valuable asset. They drive our business forward with their passion, dedication and hard work. By championing a safe, inclusive and supportive work environment, we not only meet high standards but empower our employees to thrive.

Team Health and Safety
In 2024, we launched a global Health, Safety, Security, and Environment program and a Global Safety Manual that embodies our “Goal Zero” mindset—aiming to eliminate workplace injuries and near misses completely.

Team Wellbeing
The physical and mental health of our team members is a top priority. For the third consecutive year, we observed World Mental Health Day on October 10. We also supported workload balance with ‘Focus Fridays’ and our Employee Assistance Program continued to provide emotional, financial and legal advice.
