Getting to Know FDA Food Labeling

CEU Credits: 0.35
Join us for a half‑day virtual workshop that provides a clear, practical overview of FDA food labeling regulations. This course is ideal for anyone who needs to understand the fundamentals of U.S. food labels and stay current with regulatory expectations and upcoming changes.  Throughout the session, you’ll have opportunities to ask questions, participate in discussions, and engage directly with our regulatory experts.

We will review the essential elements required on packaged food labels in the United States, including product name, Nutrition Facts, ingredient lists, allergen declarations, and mandatory statements (net weight, statement of identity) governed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). You’ll also learn how voluntary claims—such as nutrient content claims, health claims, and marketing statements—are regulated and how to avoid common compliance pitfalls.

Each learner who attends the course will receive one complimentary Baseline Label Review, providing a quick, expert evaluation of their product label. This concise, high‑value review highlights potential regulatory or claims‑related risks, giving participants immediate, actionable insights they can investigate right away.
