NSF Is a Member of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors

NSF is a full member of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA). APSCA exists to enhance the professionalism, consistency and credibility of the individuals and organizations performing independent social compliance audits as a means of improving workplace conditions globally.
NSF works with leading organizations throughout the world, helping them manage their operations and monitor their supply chain through scheme management, auditing and verification, and second- and third-party supplier assurance audits. Globally, more and more retailers want to understand and monitor the different supply chains; driven by legislation, they are required to ensure that there are no human rights violations present in any supply chain.
Organizations realize that a strong social responsibility program is key to reducing risk, improving the lives of their employees, increasing competitiveness, and building client, investor and consumer confidence.
Socially responsible organizations recognize that their activities have an impact on society and the environment and that they can also be used as a measure of overall business success. They work to mitigate risk and impact through transparent and ethical behavior across the organization and its relationships, contributing to sustainable development. Social responsibility issues affect organizations regardless of their activity, size or location.
