- Explain the role and responsibilities of all personnel in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of effective Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Apply GMP requirements in a practical, day-to-day context, including communicating expectations to staff and explaining the consequences of non-conformance.
- Understand the role of GMPs within a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and how they support hazard control and overall food safety objectives.
- Identify common biological, chemical, and physical hazards and explain how effective GMPs prevent or control these risks.
- Demonstrate knowledge of GFSI-benchmarked standard requirements (including record-keeping, competence, corrective actions, non-conformance management, and verification) and their importance in achieving and maintaining compliance.
