Course Overview
This course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the revisions of the Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 7, as well as a review of audit protocol. It is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the Standard on site.
Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRCGS Bookshop. Please have your copy of the BRCGS standard available for the course.
Participants will receive an official BRCGS certificate, issued by BRCGS, after attending this training program.

- Identify the aims of the BRCGS scheme
- Explain how to meet the requirements if the Standard
- Describe what to expect from your BRCGS audit
- Recognize the changes to the protocol of the Standard
- Utilize and understand the benefits of the BRCGS resources

This newly refreshed and completely updated Implementing SQF System course is designed for those individuals, such as the SQF practitioner, responsible for developing, aligning, verifying, maintaining, and otherwise supporting the site’s SQF food safety System and its culture of food safety.
With a focus on continuous improvement, practical activities provide attendees the opportunity to align their existing programs with the SQF Code and build skills that will enable an environment where food safety is a top priority.
NOTE: Attendees will be referring to Edition 9 of the SQF Code frequently during the training course. Attendees should have their copy of the applicable SQF Code printed or readily available electronically.

Prerequisites
It is recommended that participants have successfully completed a HACCP training course meeting the definition found in the Glossary of the SQF Code, edition 9 before attending this course.

Implementing SQF Systems Exam: Manufacturing (SQF Food Safety Code Edition 9)
The Implementing SQF Systems – Manufacturing examination assesses the knowledge of the food industry professional of the SQF Food Safety Code.
The manufacturing examination addresses topics relevant to those sites that pre-process or process product including SQF Food Sector Categories 7 to 22, 25, 26, 27, and 31 through 34.
Individuals will be allowed a total of three attempts to successfully complete the examination. The examination must be completed within 14 days of purchasing the examination. A certificate of attainment can be printed after successful completion of the examination.
The passing score of the examination is 75%.

Upon registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the exam through NSF’s eLearning portal. Any additional information will be sent in your confirmation email.
You will find your exam on the eLearning portal. You will need to access the portal in order to successfully complete the exam and print your certificate. Upon successful course completion, you will gain access to print your SQF Certificate.
