ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor

This two-day virtual course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills needed to conduct effective internal audits of Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Our engaging and interactive training sessions delve into core principles of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, providing learners with an understanding of its requirements and application in real-world scenarios. Through a blend of teaching, group activities and dynamic class discussions, learners will acquire the necessary internal auditing skills to assess the effectiveness of their organizations QMS. The requirements of ISO 19011:2018 Guidelines for auditing management systems will be used as the foundational requirements for internal audits.

  • Understanding the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

  • The four phases of an internal audit: Planning, Preparation, Performing the Audit and Reporting/Verification

  • Building a foundation around fundamental organizational process

  • Maintaining a “big picture” perspective during internal audits

  • Testing the effectiveness of each process to optimize organizational outputs

BRCGS Internal Auditor

This course will enable you to undertake internal audits and prepare companies for third party audits. It’s delivered via a series of workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to enable you to carry out an audit at your own workplace.

This course is part of the BRCGS Professional recognition programme.

Assessment: 50% Course Participation; 50% Course Assignment – Workplace audit; Pass mark 75%.

U.S. Food Labeling Under the FDA Training - October -

This virtual, instructor-led training program provides a comprehensive overview of human food labeling requirements under the authority of the U.S. FDA and compliance considerations. Topics of focus also include the new nutrition facts panel. This training course is delivered in two sessions (listed as the start & end date), with a day(s) in between with no class for self work. The schedule is as follows:

Day One:

  • Training Session 1A - Knowledge Exchange Webinar: 3 hours (8:45 am - 12:00 am)
  • Training Session 1B - Knowledge Exchange Webinar: 3 hours (1:00 pm - 4 pm)

Day Two:

  • Practicum Webinar: 3 hours (12:45 pm - 4 pm)

The Legal Suites’ Mini U.S. Nutrition Labeling Guide is provided as part of the course materials.

* Attendees will need to complete the U.S. FOOD LABELING PRACTICUM 2020 assignment on their own time prior to the live online practicum review session.

What this course covers

  • Day One (Sessions 1A and 1B) focuses on knowledge exchange, where attendees are introduced to and walked through U.S. food labeling requirements and can ask questions.
  • Day Two is a live online practicum where, as a group, we review the assignments introduced in part one (completed individually). The practicum focuses on the knowledge and skills of managing food labeling requirements.
