Dr. Julia Marré is NSF’s Principal Consultant, specializing in CMC strategy, regulatory submissions, and compliance for facilities and quality systems. She has supported numerous U.S. and global applications, guiding clients on contamination control and aseptic manufacturing practices.
Before joining NSF, she was a Senior Microbiology Reviewer at the FDA’s Office of Pharmaceutical Quality, evaluating CMC sections of regulatory submissions and inspecting pharmaceutical and biologic facilities to ensure compliance with global standards.
Marré holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Maryland.
Her areas of expertise include:
- Sterility assurance / contamination control strategy.
- Manufacturing for small molecules and biologics.
- Inspection readiness / cGMP compliance.
- FDA 483s, warning letters and consent decrees removal.
