As Senior Manager, Information Security Assurance at NSF, Rhia Dancel supports clients with enterprise risk management of information security programs aligned to recognized international and US federal frameworks. She is an ISO/IEC 27001, 20000-1 and 9001 Lead Auditor for NSF and supports program oversight for NSF's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program services supporting the US Department of War supply chain.

Rhia is a Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (LCCA) and holds Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), Certified CMMC Professional (CCP) and Registered Practitioner (RP) credentials, bringing end-to-end expertise across CMMC assessment readiness and program execution.

With more than a decade of experience at NSF, Rhia has led complex, risk-based assessments in senior auditing and technical roles nationwide, supporting NIST-aligned environments through on-site and remote engagements. Rhia holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Wayne State University.
