Sarah Krol has more than a decade of experience leading the strategic development of food safety programs and supporting global operations. She leads teams that create and implement innovative solutions to ensure safety of the global food supply chain including certification to GFSI benchmarked standards. She joined NSF in 2006.
Ms. Krol’s expertise includes a comprehensive knowledge of international safety standards and regulations for both consumer and commercial products. She was instrumental in developing NSF’s testing and certification protocols to verify the quality, performance and material safety of home products. She has also managed NSF’s certification programs for organics, food label claims, commercial food equipment and nonfood compounds.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Krol worked as an analytical chemist. She has an in-depth background in analytical laboratory testing, research and development, and method/equipment validation.
