The first step in achieving SQF certification is to clearly understand the SQF Food Safety Code. The SQF Practitioner’s Bundle is designed for individuals, such as the SQF practitioner, responsible for developing, aligning, verifying, maintaining, and otherwise supporting the site’s SQF food safety System and its culture of food safety. A primary and substitute SQF Practitioner needs to be designated for each site.
The SQF practitioner must have completed HACCP training and be competent to implement and maintain HACCP-based food safety plans and have a clear understanding of the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing and its requirement

The official two-day Implementing SQF Systems Ed. 10

One day of internal auditing principles related to the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing system requirements, Internal Auditor: SQF Ed. 10
This intensive program provides you with the essential training, knowledge, skills and tools needed to establish and maintain the SQF system certification for your organization.
Participants will receive a copy of the SQF Food Safety Code for Food Packaging Manufacturers, Edition 10.
An email address is required for registration and to receive the login instructions.
Upon registration, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the training course through NSF’s eLearning portal. Any additional information pertaining to the course will be sent in your confirmation email.
You will find your course material and homework/exam on the NSF Learner portal. You will need to access the portal in order to successfully complete the course and print your certificate. Upon successful course completion, you will gain access to print your official NSF Certificate.
Who should attend
Operational, Quality, Technical Staff and Food Safety personnel working in manufacturing or retail with food safety plans and programs. Also suitable for professionals new to the industry.
Prerequisites
A good working knowledge of GMPs and understanding of food safety principles is essential. HACCP I: Prerequisite Programs or equivalent.

Accreditation
As an Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Accredited Provider, NSF Training and Education offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. NSF Training and Education is authorized by IACET to offer the number of CEUs below for this program.

Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain – from the farm all the way to the retail stores.

Participants must join the training using their own individual computer or device to meet participation and assessment requirements. Devices cannot be shared between multiple participants. To support engagement and interactive learning, participants are encouraged to join with both video and microphone enabled throughout the session.

The Implementing SQF System course is designed for those individuals, such as the SQF practitioner, responsible for developing, aligning, verifying, maintaining, and otherwise supporting the site’s SQF food safety System and its culture of food safety.
With a focus on risk mitigation, continuous improvement and driving a positive food safety culture, the practical activities in this course provide attendees the opportunity to align existing programs with the SQF Code and build skills that will enable an environment where food safety is a top priority.
It is recommended that participants successfully complete a HACCP training course meeting the definition found in the SQF Glossary before attending this course.
NOTE: Attendees will be referring to Edition 10 of the SQF Code frequently during the training course. Attendees should have their copy of the SQF Food Safety Code: Manufacture of Food Packaging, Edition 10 printed or readily available electronically.
