
Sandy Talamonti
Sandy Talamonti is Director, Technical Operations for Food Claims and Nutrition and Wellness at NSF. Her Food Claims team delivers organic certifications under Quality Assurance International (QAI) and food claims programs globally, including Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan and Cruelty-Free, Raised Without Antibiotics, Cage-Free and Free-Range, and Non-UPF. The Nutrition and Wellness team ensures supplements and wellness items meet high safety and quality standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Contents and Claims Certified and Certified for Sport.
Together, these teams instill confidence in consumers, reinforcing NSF’s dedication to safeguarding health and well-being. Talamonti joined NSF in 2008 as part of the Food Equipment Certification team. An expert in project and change management, she also served in leadership roles supporting global organizational transformation at NSF.
Talamonti holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences from Eastern Michigan University.
