This page provides resources on preparing for a successful transition or new certification to an updated standard.
OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn in 2021, with certificates expiring on March 11, 2021. Current OHSAS 18001 clients will need to migrate to ISO 45001 to ensure continuity of their occupational health and safety management program to protect employee and public health.
NSF-ISR encourages existing and new customers to certify to ISO 45001 no later than November 10, 2020. This will ensure nonconformances are resolved prior to expiration and withdrawal of OHSAS 18001.
For more information and resources, see the ISO 45001:2018 Migration tab.
