The Ontario Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 requires an accredited operating authority to oversee all municipal residential drinking water systems.

This operating authority must establish and maintain a quality management system that meets the requirements of the Ontario Drinking Water Quality Management Standard (DWQMS).

NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR) serves as one of only two approved accreditation bodies for the DWQMS and provides third-party verification for operating authorities like your company.

In addition to meeting standard requirements, your company will have access to:

  • A robust team of DWQMS experts who make the verification process more effective and efficient
  • Lead auditors with more than 10 years of direct QMS experience, deep industry knowledge and relevant insights
  • Highly qualified experts who can assist with the transfer of existing certifications
