Course Overview
The Certified ISO 14001 Foundation training course presents the basic information on the concepts of environmental management and an overview of the ISO 14001 requirements. By participating in this training course, you will be able to understand the different aspects of an EMS, including the environmental policy, operational controls, performance measurements, management commitment, internal audit, management review, and continual improvement.
The successful completion of the training course is followed by an exam.
Exam Information
The exam is administered through PECB, the third-party platform that hosts this course. The exam is included in the course fee, and all certificate and examination costs are covered. Participants receive over 200 pages of instructional materials, including explanations, guidance, and practical examples to support their learning. You may study the course materials at your convenience and have 12 months to complete the exam, including one free retake. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the exam.

- ISO 14001 Foundation: 1-hour, closed book, multiple choice | 40 questions
The training course is participant centered and contains:
- Lecture sessions are illustrated with graphics, examples, and discussions
- Interactions between participants by means of questions and suggestions
- Quizzes as a simulation and preview of the certificate exam
