The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) is an assessment framework developed by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). The primary objective is to enhance the cybersecurity controls that are in place for organizations supplying the DoD, known as the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
The CMMC certification process involves several key steps to ensure that organizations meet the necessary requirements for the relevant CMMC status level. Organizations are encouraged to start this process now.
