Expanding Certification Value: NSF and Circle H International Announce Strategic Referral Collaboration

At NSF, we believe that meaningful collaboration drives progress. That's why we're proud to announce a strategic referral initiative with Circle H International, a globally recognized Halal certification program.

This initiative, built on mutual values of quality and certification integrity, demonstrates our commitment to supporting our clients as they navigate complex certification landscapes with confidence.

Through this referral-based collaboration, NSF and Circle H will work together to offer clients streamlined access to complementary certifications and expert guidance across diverse regulatory and cultural frameworks. Whether you're seeking NSF’s rigorous third-party validation or Circle H's trusted Halal certification, our teams are aligned to provide helpful referrals and guidance to support your goals.

What this means for our clients

This initiative is designed to simplify the certification journey. NSF clients pursuing Halal certification will be connected with Circle H through direct referrals, facilitating a seamless experience backed by a company who shares our commitment to quality and compliance. Likewise, Circle H clients interested in NSF’s portfolio – including Vegan, Non-GMO, Organic, food safety, and more – will be referred to NSF for expert support and certification services.

Together, we're creating a more connected certification ecosystem – one that empowers brands to meet evolving consumer expectations, regulatory demands, and global market opportunities.

Voices from the collaboration

“This collaboration with NSF is a natural extension of our mission to help brands grow responsibly and authentically. By working together through this referral initiative, we’re creating a certification experience that’s not only efficient but also deeply aligned with the values our clients care about”, shared Uri Yudewitz, CEO of Circle H International.

Carey Allen, Director of Food Claims at NSF, added: “We’re excited to collaborate with Circle H to offer our clients a broader spectrum of certification solutions. This initiative reflects our commitment to innovation, integrity, and making certification more accessible and meaningful for today’s food industry.”

A shared vision for growth

This collaboration reflects NSF’s broader strategy to expand our global reach and deepen our impact on food integrity, dietary wellness, and consumer values verification. By aligning with Circle H, we’re reinforcing our ability to connect clients with culturally relevant, technically sound, and market-ready certification solutions.

As part of this referral collaboration, both organizations will make referrals to each other’s services, share educational resources, and support clients through joint efforts, all while maintaining full independence in its own certification process, standards and client relationships.

From local to global

Circle H’s motto – “From Local to Global” – resonates deeply with NSF’s mission to improve human and planet health. Together, we’re helping companies grow responsibly, authentically, and with the assurance that their certifications meet the highest standards.
