WRAS Approval Readiness Tool

All plumbing products and materials in contact with drinking water must comply with the UK’s Water Supply (Water Fittings) regulations and byelaws, which include:
- The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
- The Water Supply (Water Fittings) (Scotland) Byelaws 2014
- The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009
WRAS Approval is one way to prove this compliance.
No matter if you’re new to this approval, or have experience with it, one important question you might be asking is, “How do I know if my product/material is ready to enter the WRAS Approval process?”
Find out by using our WRAS Approval Readiness Tool. By posing a series of targeted questions tailored to your specific product, this tool helps you understand where your product or material stands, and any additional preparation you may want to make before starting your application.
Why We’re Qualified
NSF is an approved testing house for WRAS Approvals, and we’ve been providing the testing for these products and submitting them for approval out of our laboratory in Wales since 1999, so we’re always up to date with what’s required.
Disclaimer: Please note that the readiness percentage provided is a general estimate for informational purposes only and does not provide a guarantee or grant any type of approval. Rest assured; your score does not affect future applications.
